THE 2010 IUPAP YOUNG SCIENTIST MEDAL AND PRIZE IN PLASMA PHYSICS It is a pleasure to announce that The IUPAP C.16 2010 Young Scientist Prize has been awarded to Dr. Matthew Hole "for your contribution to the measurement, interpretation, analysis, and understanding of wave phenomena in plasmas, as well as your research leadership to champion an Australian research engagement with ITER". Dr. M. Hole will receive the corresponding Medal and Certificate during a public ceremony which will take place during the ICPP-LAWPP 2010 Conference in Santiago Chile, in August 8- 13, in this year. In this opportunity, Dr. Hole will also give a plenary talk presenting the scientific work that made him worthy of this important Prize. |
